Our team of perinatal dietitians are here to help you reconnect with food as nourishment for both brain and body, and as an expression of culture and care. Rooted in Intuitive Eating, our work is trauma-informed, inclusive of all body sizes, and built for the realities of your busy life. Our in-house Registered Dietitians are available to Azalea therapy clients and see perinatal women and families for the following conditions:

  • ADHD

  • Anxiety/PPA

  • Blood sugar concerns

  • Depression/PPD

  • Diabetes

  • Family nutrition including picky eaters and starting solids

  • Gestational diabetes

  • General balanced eating and menu planning

  • General postpartum nutrition

  • General pregnancy nutrition

  • GI conditions like constipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, GERD

  • High blood pressure

  • High cholesterol or triglycerides

  • Hyperemesis gravidarum

  • Iron deficiency anemia

  • Neurodivergence and eating well

  • Nutrition after pregnancy loss

  • Nutrition for conception and fertility

  • Nutrition for lactation

  • PCOS

  • Preeclampsia

  • Vitamin or mineral deficiencies, including symptoms like hair loss/thinning, brittle nails, etc.

    I bring over a decade of experience in maternal and child health public health programs. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and focused on empowering individuals and families with practical nutrition education.

    I’m passionate about helping families build sustainable habits that fit their unique lifestyles, and I believe supportive, collaborative care makes informed decisions feel more achievable.

    Nutrition care is never one-size-fits-all—each session is personalized to your goals and medical nutrition needs, with the understanding that meaningful change is a gradual and individual process.

Our dietitians see clients virtually in DC, MD & VA, and are in network with Cigna and Carefirst/BCBS plans.

Our dietitians run nutrition education support groups for pregnant and postpartum moms. These are not covered by insurance and are available to clients anywhere in the US.
